Leadership involves empathy and compassion both for yourself, the people you’re working with and employing. In order to be an effective leader you must listen and engage. To have compassion and understanding for people when they are at their highs and especially at their lows. But first, you must be able to effectively place yourself in the other person’s position in order to truly empathize and relate to what they’re experiencing to be able to help them. A transformational leader sees the best in people and helps see what their strengths are and helps them improve upon their weaknesses.
