The ByBlack Badge is the official seal designating a business as Black-Owned and Operated, solely issued by U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. & ByBlack.us platform. The U.S. Black Chambers Inc., and American Express have partnered and are proud to present the newly enhanced ByBlack Platform, an extensive national Black business directory and launched the only national certification exclusively for Black- owned businesses. 

ByBlack is designed to provide Black entrepreneurs a way to reach new customers and get access to valuable business resources. By Black leverages a network of over 140 Chambers across the country to vet and verify businesses that are Black-owned and deserve new opportunities for growth. They aren’t just building a platform; they are empowering a community.

American Express is also using ByBlack to continue to expand its diversity supplier commitment while also helping encourage other companies to do the same. ByBlack is part of both the USBC’s and American Express’ broader efforts to support Black-owned businesses.

American Express is committed to providing access to capital and financial education to at least 250,000 Black-owned small and medium-sized businesses in the U.S. by the end of 2024, as part of a $1 billion action plan to enhance diverse representation and promote equal opportunities for colleagues, customers, and communities.
